If you’re tired of the same old breakfast, today’s recipe might be for you! I found this delicious recipe on the SarahFit YouTube channel a while back, and knew I had to try it. I haven’t always been an oatmeal lover, but it’s so good for you, so I wanted to find a way to make it more enjoyable. And I think I’ve found a successful recipe!
The ingredients I used are pictured above! Make substitutions as needed 🙂
2 cups oats
1tsp baking powder
2 cups milk
*Optional Ingredients: 1 cup of blueberries and 3 strawberries cut up (The original recipe doesn’t call for this, but makes it takes so much better )
Squeeze of honey, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar
Mix dry and wet ingredients separately and then together!
Layer your filling into a baking dish! Next add sliced banana, other fruits, and cinnamon on top. You’re almost done! Bake at 350 degrees in the oven for 30 mins! After 30 minutes, check to see if your bake is as firm as you’d like. Once you’re done, set your dish to the side to cool!
